Project 1

Oversized Equipment and Parts to Volkhov, Leningrad Region (DAP mode)

Transportation of oversized equipment and parts for the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) company headquartered in Italy. The project entailed moving approximately 30 containers, divided into three batches, with mostly 40′ FR and 40′ HQ OT special equipment. The cargo was mainly out-of-gauge (OOG) and comprised filters used in the mining industry.

Project 2

Shipper’s Own Containers (SOC) to Taraz Kazakhstan

During the peak COVID-19 period from November 2020 to May 2021, we successfully completed a project involving the transportation of 36 X 40 HC containers for the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) company headquartered in Germany.

The containers were loaded in India and transported in four batches on Shipper’s Own Containers (SOC). They were then shipped from Qingdao to Taraz via the Chinese railway, with a transit time of approximately 25 days through Dostyk.

Challenges

Project 3

HC Containers Shipment to Dushanbe, Tajikistan

This project involved the transportation of two 40 HC containers from India to Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Due to congestion issues in China caused by COVID-19 restrictions, the customer would have had to experience waiting times of 2-3 months.

To avoid this, our team found an innovative solution by transporting the shipment from India to Dushanbe via Latvia (Riga).

The container cargo was transloaded into trucks and delivered to the consignee after arriving in Riga. The transit time was approximately 18-20 days, covering a distance of 5000 km.

Project 4

Shipment of 10×20 containers of Granites to Almaty, Kazakhstan

We were able to successfully complete this project involving the transportation of 10 x 20 HD containers of granites from India to Almaty, Kazakhstan, between August and December 2021.

The containers were loaded on Shipper’s Own Containers (SOC) and routed via Qingdao. Due to COVID-19 congestion, the containers were to be on hold at Qingdao for 30 days since the cargo was not time-sensitive.

The containers were then moved on the rail to Almaty and delivered to the consignee, with a transit time of approximately 10-15 days and covering a distance of approximately 3500 km.
